Annual Physical Monitoring
Assess Your health
When you think about an annual physical you automatically think of your primary care physician. However, the physical by your primary care physician is not specifically catered to your musculoskeletal system.
Physical therapists have the education, experience, and expertise necessary to provide a broad health screening to allow tracking the your health status over time. It also may lead to a referral for a treatment plan or to another health care professional for potential problems identified during the visit.
During Your Annual Physical Monitoring We look at:
Gait Analysis
Video Motion Analysis
Range of Motion Testing
Joint Mobility
Vestibular Health
Overall Musculoskeletal Health
Map Your Progress
Physical therapists are trained to address the specific needs of your musculoskeletal system, which is comprised of your muscles, bones, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, joints and other connective tissues. Annual physical monitoring can ensure that these essential internal structures are working together to support, stabilize and move your body. During your annual visit, a PT will gather your health history and perform a series of test and measures. Whether you are in pain or not, we can help make sure that you have no issues that will limit you from doing the activities you are passionate about. If you are having pain, we can address it and give you the tools you need to get back on track.
Fitness
The goal of any exercise program is to leave you feeling healthier and stronger. Therapeutic exercise, prescribed by a physical therapist, has similar goals.
